Story of the Material -Recycled Nylon Organic Cotton Cloth-

To allow people to experience the wonder of materials, we strive for meaningful material creation and clothing production with an approach that prioritizes "first selecting the material, then designing for that material." This journal is a series that introduces the key stories of the brand, from material creation to design philosophy. This time, we will introduce "Recycle Nylon Organic Cotton Cloth," a typewriter material made from recycled nylon yarn and organic cotton.
The yarn uses organic cotton from Turkey. This yarn is mechanically harvested, which minimizes the inclusion of impurities and makes it well-suited for blending with synthetic fibers. The nylon yarn is made from recycled industrial waste and is GRS certified*. The finishing process involves natural processing, including manual work, and a water-repellent finish on the surface.
This series, UNDECORATED's first using synthetic fibers, achieves functionality such as water repellency and toughness by incorporating more recycled nylon on the surface, while the inside, which touches the skin, uses a high percentage of 100% organic cotton to provide moisture absorption and good breathability.
