"From Zushi, from Nasu, from Yoyogi"
10.10 SAT — 10.11 SUN
13:00 — 19:00
groundfloor Gallery, Nakameguro
"to UNDECORATED," a gallery-style lifestyle project curated by UNDECORATED, will host a joint exhibition titled "From Zushi, From Nasu, From Yoyogi" at groundfloor Gallery for two days on Saturday, October 10th and Sunday, October 11th.
Things selected near the sea.
Things created in the forest.
Things cultivated in the city.
Three groups, each working in different locations while valuing their own unique sensibilities, will gather in Nakameguro, Tokyo.
This collaboration features "EYEON general store" from Zushi/Hayama, ceramic artist Akane Suzuki based in Nasu, and the Yoyogi-Uehara flower shop "whole."
When the location changes, so do the ways of selecting items, making things, and the flow of time.
We bring the sensibilities cultivated in each respective place into a single space.
EYEON general store | Zushi
Located along the Tagoe River near Zushi/Hayama Station, EYEON general store offers a curated selection of items that accompany daily life, centered on natural wines hand-picked by the owner, alongside vintage glassware and objects.
A common thread among all the items in the shop is the owner's commitment to prioritizing their own sensibility over origins or labels. The shop's charm lies in the gentle, serene passage of time unique to Zushi, located just a 15-minute walk from the sea.

Akane Suzuki | Nasu
Ceramic artist Akane Suzuki worked as a hairstylist and makeup artist before moving to the UK. Upon returning to Japan, she studied under ceramic artist Kansai Noguchi. She currently continues her work in an atelier surrounded by the nature of Nasu.
Her works, characterized by rounded forms, the subtle irregularities unique to handcrafted pieces, and a striking deep lapis lazuli glaze, exude a quiet presence in daily life. Whether used for arranging flowers, serving food, or simply displayed as they are, her vessels create a comfortable sense of space.

whole | Yoyogi-Uehara
The Yoyogi-Uehara flower shop "whole" values not only the flowers themselves but also the space they occupy and the time spent with them.
Their arrangements, which layer nuanced colors and varied textures, suggest enjoying flowers with the same freedom one might apply to fashion.
They make flowers feel more accessible, whether as gifts or as a way to add color to your everyday life.
Beyond flower arrangements at the shop,
they also provide floral proposals tailored to various scenes, including spatial decor, flowers for events and parties, and wedding floral design.
By harmonizing with the specific place and time, they craft the atmosphere of the entire space through flowers.

Zushi, Nasu, Yoyogi.
The sea, the forest, and the city.
People who have spent their time differently in these three locations.
The wine, ceramics, and flowers born from those places will be gathered in a small gallery in Nakameguro.
You cannot simply carry the atmosphere of a land elsewhere.
That is precisely why we invite you to experience it through these objects.
Where were they made?
Who chose them?
What kind of time do they exist within?
Take a moment to pause and look at these objects.
And imagine the lives that exist beyond them.
These two days, at groundfloor Gallery.
From Zushi, from Nasu, from Yoyogi.
