<Souvenirs of Japan> features carefully selected hotels, restaurants, craft galleries, and scenic spots from across Japan, offering inspiration for memorable journeys. It presents traditional, excellent techniques passed down through generations and modern designs, accompanied by photos and short texts.
Founders and editors Sofia Nebiolo and Christophe Victoor have traveled throughout Japan, experiencing artistic and traditional craftsmanship firsthand. Their passion for "discovery" led to the establishment of Souvenirs Of, which seeks to share and create artistic and artisanal experiences from around the world, based on the belief that art and design can foster a deeper understanding of cultures different from one's own.
Furthermore, the book concludes with abstract still life images of Japanese handicrafts and everyday objects, photographed by Berlin-based creative studio Haw-Lin Services.
