Kansai Noguchi Painted T-Shirt
This cut-and-sew T-shirt was released as part of the "Kansai Noguchi Art Work Project by UNDECORATED," a new collaboration between ceramist Kansai Noguchi and UNDECORATED to express art through fabric. This time, we will introduce Mr. Noguchi's drawing works incorporated into the product.
" Karesansui&O "
This work depicts the "O" from the Japanese syllabary (AIUEO), using an ancient hieroglyphic character due to its interesting philosophical meaning and form. It is named "Karesansui&O" after the dry landscape garden (Karesansui) and the Roman letter "O".
" Pierre Soulages Homage "
An abstract painting based on black, inspired by the French artist Pierre Soulages. The brush-like texture, including the smudged ink, gives it Mr. Noguchi's characteristic touch.
" This is a Hand "
This work abstractly depicts people. It expresses the frustrating situation of the past few years, where people "want to hold hands but find it difficult to."
" Hi Fu Mi Yo "
This work depicts life as a canvas, with dots symbolizing footprints. It embodies the idea that life would be uninteresting if one didn't make big marks, distort things, and create changes to forge one's own great path.
Each T-shirt is made from cotton jersey with a voluminous, substantial feel, allowing you to wear it comfortably until early autumn.
