Food Waste Terry
100% Organic Cotton

French terry fabric made by combining eco-friendly food-dyed yarn, extracted from tea leaves, fruits, and vegetables that were slated for disposal, with undyed cotton. Matcha Yellow is dyed using powdered uneven tea leaves and remnants collected after grinding matcha with a stone mill. Blueberry, as the name suggests, is dyed using blueberries that became non-standard due to stains or damage. Woven slowly and gently on old-fashioned loopwheel knitting machines at a factory in Wakayama Prefecture, this fabric is characterized by its soft texture and smooth feel.

The slightly thick ribbing along the neckline gives it a more modern impression. The sleeves and hem are cut-off to create a vintage feel. With a wide body and shorter sleeves and length, it can be worn by both men and women. This versatile piece can be worn on its own or layered with a shirt or cut-and-sew top underneath.

The hoodie features a large hood for a clean look around the face. Another key detail is the cut-off seam on the sleeves, which adds depth to the material. The delicate ribbing on the cuffs and hem prevents it from looking too loose, giving it an elegant impression even when worn by women. This item can stand alone and pairs well with any bottom.
