2026 Spring / Summer Fabric Mood Board
"Design for Material."
UNDECORATED creates clothing by starting from the inherent properties and appearance of the materials themselves.
We value quietly and firmly preserving the feelings that first emerge when wearing the clothes, and the comfort felt the moment they touch the skin.
For the 2026 Spring/Summer collection, we focused on color.
Wool with overlapping ambiguous tones, light cotton lawn with layered prints, shirts and cut-and-sewn items with enhanced textures created through multiple processes.
We offer items where material and color naturally resonate with each other.
Indefinable colors, imperfect fluctuations.
We embraced that ambiguity and expressed it as a unique color palette.
This time, we will introduce the materials that support this collection.

―OVER-PAINTING
An impressive print created by layering six silk screens radially, producing a multi-layered, deep texture.
Each layer is carefully applied by hand by skilled artisans.
The fabric used is a voluminous cotton jersey knitted in Wakayama Prefecture.
By using 40-count double-ply yarn blended with American cotton, we achieved a soft and supple texture.
Furthermore, the fabric is washed to give it an airy, plump texture that feels as if it contains air.

―AIRY COTTON
A thin cotton lawn material made from 60-count yarn.
It is finely woven, suppressing transparency while offering a smooth and gentle feel that is comfortable the moment it touches the skin.
The揉み洗い (momiarai) washing process gently loosens the fibers, preventing them from clinging to the skin and creating a dry, light, and comfortable feel.
―GRADATION WOOL
"GRADATION WOOL CLOTH" has been featured for three seasons.
This season, it has been finished in bright and refreshing colors.
This tropical wool, made from Australian merino wool, can be worn comfortably even in summer.
It is characterized by a supple feel and a light, refreshing sensation, and a special process makes it wrinkle-resistant and resistant to sweat, making it a comfortable material.
After weaving, the fabric undergoes a gradation dyeing process where four dyes are simultaneously poured by artisans, carefully finishing each piece by hand.
This precious process creates a unique depth of color that is only possible with manual craftsmanship.

―OMBRE STRIPE
By intentionally weaving loosely with a superfine blend of softly twisted wool and polyester yarns, we created a soft fabric that offers the drape and fullness characteristic of wool.
A delicate ombre stripe pattern is expressed using five different dyed yarns.
This expressive fabric combines a gentle, gauze-like feel with beautiful draping properties.

―WATER-PROOF WOOL
This tropical wool material is densely woven using a blend of wool and polyester for the warp and elastic polyester yarn for the weft.
It offers a slight horizontal stretch, ensuring comfortable wear.
The fabric surface is treated with a water-repellent finish and also possesses moisture permeability, making it comfortable to wear even in Japan's hot and humid summers.
Furthermore, by dyeing the warp and weft in subtly different colors, you can enjoy a chambray-like depth of color that changes depending on the light.
By combining with polyester, this material achieves both practicality and high quality, offering lightness and easy care.

―LINEN / COTTON
This summer knit material is a blend of three natural fibers: European linen, which offers both depth of texture and natural drape; ramie, which excels in crispness and coolness; and cotton, which provides softness and an elegant texture.
By consistently managing everything from raw material selection to spinning and dyeing in Japan, we maximize the characteristics of each fiber, achieving high quality stability and beautiful texture.
This textile combines functionality and beauty, offering excellent breathability, moisture absorption, and lightness, making it comfortable to wear even in summer.

―WRINKLED NYLON
This sustainable taslan material uses nylon yarn recycled from textile waste.
It features a matte texture and natural wrinkles created by a washer finish, giving it a relaxed impression.
Although slightly thin, it has a plump finish, combining the gentle feel of cotton with the soft texture unique to nylon.

―COTTON TWILL
This twill material is densely woven using 20-count cotton yarn for both warp and weft.
It features a firm crispness and elegant sheen, making it ideal for tailoring.
Furthermore, a special finish is applied to the product, adding a seasoned, rich texture.
We at UNDECORATED will continue to create clothing that embraces the changing seasons, valuing the perspective of "design for material."
Please experience the comfort and small happiness that come from the moment the fabric touches your skin, much like the spring and summer sunlight and the warmth of the wind, through our collection.
