"Design for Materials."
This is UNDECORATED's approach to materials, which lies at the core of its manufacturing.
It stems from a desire to cherish the sensations that can only be experienced by wearing clothes and the feeling of happiness when they touch the skin.

This time, we will introduce the materials used in the 2025 Autumn/Winter collection, which was recently launched, and which embody these sentiments.

 

-Gradation Wool

This luxurious material uses Super100's, which is spun from finer fibers among high-quality merino wool from Australia.
Its moist luster and delicate, fur-like texture are striking. The smooth feel when touched by hand is also one of its charms.
The dyeing process is a highly advanced technique based on traditional methods passed down in the Bishu-Ichinomiya region, where four dyes are simultaneously poured in. The natural gradation is created through careful handiwork by skilled artisans.

 

 

-Clear Twill

This "yarn-dyed" fabric combines wool and viscose (a type of rayon).
By dyeing the yarn before weaving, the dye penetrates deeply into the fibers, making it resistant to washing and friction, and allowing it to retain its beautiful color for a long time.
The weave is a "twill weave," where warp and weft threads cross diagonally. The result is a dense fabric with a neat appearance.
Furthermore, the addition of rayon yarn creates a luster, making it wrinkle-resistant and giving it a crisp, light texture.
It is a material that balances visual beauty with practicality, perfect for everyday life.

 

 

-Fur Wool

This material uses soft wool from Australian Merino sheep, harvested within 6 months of birth.
The wool from young sheep is very fine and supple. It has a natural luster and an elegant beauty.
The fiber thickness is a mere 19.5 micrometers (μ), an astonishingly fine texture, about one-quarter to one-tenth the thickness of human hair.
Therefore, its gentleness on the skin is exceptional, with a smooth texture that you'll instinctively want to keep touching.
The yarn is spun using the "woolen" method, creating a fluffy texture that traps air.
Furthermore, by processing this yarn into a chenille-like shape using a special technique, it achieves a three-dimensional feel and texture, much like fur.
This piece offers a subtle luxury in both its appearance and touch.

 

 

-Sponge Wool

This fabric is made from 100% high-quality Australian Merino wool, finished as a jersey material.
By carefully knitting extremely fine wool threads, it achieves flexible elasticity and resilience, despite being a natural material.
Its sponge-like elasticity gently conforms to the wearer's movements, providing a comfortable feel.
While jersey material is often made from synthetic fibers, we have suppressed its sporty impression, emphasizing the elegant and modern presence unique to wool.

 

 

-Wool Fleece Melton

This wool uses only the finest parts selected from top-grade Australian wool.
Both sides are brushed to achieve a fluffy texture and high thermal insulation. The result is a texture that envelops you in gentle warmth.
The knitting design also incorporates a clever detail. To give the fabric a firm thickness and resilience, it is knitted with longer piles than usual.
Despite its seemingly voluminous appearance, it weighs only about 300 grams (per 1㎡). It offers a light and stress-free wearing experience.
The loose knitting and finishing process maximize the fabric's expansion, creating a light and voluminous fabric that feels as if it contains air.

 

 

-Wool Terry Knit

This knit, made from Australian Merino wool, combines functionality and comfort.
In addition to excellent thermal insulation, it is a natural material with breathability, moisture absorption, and even odor resistance.
Using a special spinning machine typically used for cashmere, we achieved a fluffy thickness and lightness that is difficult to express with wool alone.
Furthermore, we incorporated a double-layer structure, which is difficult with conventional knits, and knitted the inner layer into a pile structure for a soft touch on the skin.
It is as light as a sweatshirt, has a soft bulk, and provides exceptional comfort when it touches the skin.
Once you try it on, you're sure to become addicted to its gentle feel.
