Kansai Noguchi is a ceramic artist with an unusual background, having transitioned from a musician.

We met Mr. Noguchi about three years ago.

We have been planning a pottery and clothing collaboration that we could be proud of, and now, finally, the project is coming to fruition.

Mr. Noguchi's representative work, the "JOMON" series, inspired by pottery and stone tools said to be the oldest in the world from the Jomon period,

It fuses the past and the future, creating unprecedented originality.

The philosophy behind it is truly a wonderful collection that reflects the concept of "shapes that are not too beautiful, a playfulness that sometimes seems foolish bringing out the beauty" and Mr. Noguchi's personality.

From the "JOMON" series, this event will feature two items: "SKIN" and "YAKISHIME".

"SKIN"

A natural collection inspired by skin tones, utilizing the natural color of the clay without any dyes.

A thin transparent glaze is applied, and the color is expressed solely by the firing tone.

"YAKISHIME"

A collection that emphasizes texture and expresses cracks and antiquity by repeatedly applying and wiping off slip and glaze.

From UNDECORATED, we will be featuring a homewear collection centered around organic cotton, which we have focused on since the brand's establishment.

"Unadorned"

"Design for material"

These items, which perfectly align with the brand's two core keywords, were designed with a focus on texture and functionality, making them suitable for both indoor and outdoor wear.

The organic cotton yarn used for the set-up shirt and pants is satin-woven for a comfortable feel against the skin and a substantial texture suitable for wearing outdoors.

These items can be interpreted as both loungewear and uniforms.

The long gown is made from undyed organic cotton, highlighting the natural qualities of the harvested material. The entire garment is brushed, emphasizing the short fiber length characteristic of organic cotton for a pleasant feel.

It can be worn indoors as a light cover-up or as an outer layer when going out during the upcoming season.

We also developed an undyed organic cotton jersey material.

This loungewear romper features four pockets and is made from a soft jersey fabric with short fibers that fluff up when washed, creating a natural brushed feel. It's perfect for wearing out as a one-mile outfit with an outer layer.

This versatile vest, made from brushed-back knit using "brown cotton" which naturally has a brownish hue, can be worn both as an inner layer and as an outer layer.

Although seemingly unrelated, the two genres were able to express a shared world view by UNDECORATED GA embracing the "homewear" field, which thrives indoors, much like the world of pottery thrives indoors through decorative vases and tableware.

While this is our first attempt, it has become a wonderful space.

Although the period is limited to four days, please come and visit.
