■About the material
This material is a twisted yarn of "Modal" rayon, which is made from wood pulp, using pulp as its raw material.
The Modal yarn, produced by Lenzing AG in Austria under integrated management from the raw material, is a cellulose fiber with high ecological standards, as it does not use chemicals that burden the environment.
By combining washi paper and Modal, we have added the drape and luster of Modal while retaining the crispness and firmness of washi paper. It can also be hand-washed at home.
