This jersey fabric is knitted on a 24-gauge specialty ponte machine using a blend of wool yarn, stretch yarn, and nylon yarn. By using Australian merino wool and knitting it at an ultra-high gauge, we have created a natural material that resists sagging and features excellent recovery. The fibers are soft and non-itchy, resulting in a very pleasant texture against the skin. This is a sophisticated and modern jersey material that avoids the unpleasant "sporty" feel often found in synthetic fabrics. It is also machine washable.
