ーFLANNEL CHECK COTTON
A British check flannel fabric featuring 16/1 twill construction with a brushed surface. By using thick single-ply yarns in a twill weave, the fabric achieves not only the softness characteristic of brushed flannel but also a moderate firmness and full-bodied texture. An additional washing process creates a soft touch that feels great against the skin, giving it a lived-in look. Flannel originated in 19th-century Britain and has long been popular for workwear, outdoor clothing, and warm shirts. Known for its warmth due to the brushing and a texture that improves with wear, this fabric honors that traditional charm while blending it with the classic aesthetic of a British check.
