It uses a blend of noil silk, spun using the Tsumugi silk spinning method from fibers that fall off during silk yarn spinning, and cotton yarn.
To bring out the unique neps of Tsumugi silk yarn, it is finished with a twill weave and a wash process for a pleasing texture.
