100% Organic Cotton

This product uses Turkish organic cotton harvested in the Izmir region of the Mediterranean. By machine-harvesting the yarn instead of hand-picking it, impurities are prevented, resulting in a clean fabric. Woven slowly and carefully by artisans on an old-fashioned shuttle loom, which operates at about 1/20th the speed of regular looms, the fabric is characterized by its puffy texture with an uneven surface. After weaving, the fabric is washed and massaged to further enhance its texture.
