"1917" is a fragrance born from a collaboration with Kunsthal Aarhus, a museum established in 1917 in the Danish city of Aarhus. It is a modern interpretation of the classic "Chypre" scent.

Chypre is a fragrance family based on oakmoss, patchouli, bergamot, etc., and its origin is Cyprus Island in the Mediterranean, which is said to have produced perfumed oils since before recorded history. 1917 was also the year when the perfume "Chypre de Coty" was released by Coty and gained popularity, and since then, chypre has been established as a fragrance family.

Aarhus is a central city of industry and culture facing the sea. FRAMA expresses a modern Chypre as the scent of a lush green summer in Aarhus, layering the fragrances of rose, lilac, and seaweed.
