Summer in Munich

Winter passes as if waking from sleep, and new greenery begins to sprout, guided by the soft sunlight.
Here in Munich, too, the signs of summer are quietly beginning to fill the air.

In this city, with its long days just around the corner, Sebastian Haas captured with his camera a T-shirt dyed in a gradient using "Dobu-zome," a traditional Japanese dyeing technique.

The shifting colors from ecru to sage green evoke the soft sunlight filtering through the Alter Botanischer Garten (Old Botanical Garden) in Munich, Sebastian's hometown, and the landscape where the deepening green of the trees in early summer overlaps.
It's a single image that seems to capture a silent yet profound moment at the beginning of summer, as if resonating with the breath of nature.

-Gradation T-Shirt

We have launched a T-shirt using "Dobu-zome," one of the traditional dyeing techniques.
It is a T-shirt with a natural gradient from green to ecru.
We offer two types: short-sleeved and 3/4-sleeved, to suit the season and your preference.
The light and breathable French Terry material ensures you stay cool and comfortable even in hot weather.

- Dobu-zome

"Dobu-zome" is one of the traditional dyeing techniques, where fabric or clothing is soaked in dye and placed in a large tub or container ("Dobu") for dyeing.
This process allows the dye to penetrate not only the surface but also the inside of the fabric, creating a natural gradient and unevenness.
The greatest appeal of this technique is that the dyeing pattern and color intensity vary from piece to piece.
Because it is hand-dyed by artisans, even if the same mold and dye are used, subtle differences emerge in the finish, making each piece a unique work of art.
It is truly a dyeing method that blends "natural texture" and "artisan skill," creating warmth and depth.
